PAUL OTTO LANGLOIS Died at his home Tuesday January 21, 1941. Aged 78 years 4 months. In the death of Mr. Langlois, New Roads loses another of its oldest citizens, for Mr. Langlois was born, reared, and spent his entire life here--Noted for his untiring energy and diversification of interests his was indeed a busy life. He was young when he married Miss Elodie Olinde and their life together was a union of thoughts and pursuits, and when she died a few years ago, his life seemed to have lost "truly a better half". He was a member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, and his funeral service was held in St. Mary's Church where he had always worshiped and he was buried beside the loved wife in St Mary's Cemetary. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs Tillie Robillard of Ventress, Miss Inez Langlois and Miss Marie Langlois of New Roads, four sons, Fred and Conrad Langlois of New Roads, Wilfred and Joseph Langlois of Baton Rouge, twenty grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. To these The Banner extends sympathy. --------------------------------------------------------------------
