He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a native of Ada, Okla. A private graveside service was held at Chenal Cemetery on Saturday, July 19, at 12:30 p.m. and was conducted by the Rev. Chuck Stearns. Survived by three daughters and a son- in-law, Beth Stucks, of Pasadena, Texas, Theresa Jarvis, of Blanchard, Okla., and Diane and Jessie Jarreau, of Lakeland; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Mary Stucks, of Pasadena; a sister, Ines Mae, of Phoenix; three brothers, Troy Stucks, of Mesa, Ariz., R.C. Stucks, of Odessa, Texas, and G.W. Stucks, of Alex, Okla.; first wife, Flossie Stucks, of Rushsprings, Okla.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Phrona Stucks; second wife, Helen Stucks; brothers and sisters. Pallbearers were James Stucks, Jessie Jarreau, Daniel Jarreau, Marshall Bankston, Robbie Bankston and Shane Breland. He was a member of the American Legion. Niland's Funeral Services of New Roads, was in charge of arrangements.
