BIBLE OF LEWIS CASTON BASS  
(Note: The original pages were written by Lewis Caston Bass. After his 
death in 1912, his son William Riley Bass added some information. My 
mother, Alma Bass Crawford continued the tradition and added information 
and I have added the latest information.)  

REGISTER OF MARRIAGES. 
Lewis C. Bass & Malaca Wetherford married at the home of Alford Wetherford, 
Calcasieu Ward, Rapides Parish, LA, March 12th, 1860 by John Strother, Justice 
of the Peace. Witnessed by H. L. Martin, H. C. Smith & John A. Strother.      
Joined the Baptist Church and were bapised (sic) by Rev. W. W. Gerold, Supply 
at New Hope Church in July 1876.

Lewis C. Bass born Bayou Chicot, St. Landry Parish, LA Feb. 17th, 1838. 
Malaca Bass born Dale County Georgia, May 10th, 1842.

Rolin Anderson Bass died September 29th, 1886.
