TERRELL BIBLE RECORDS   
William S. Terrell was a Baptist Minister in Rapides and Vernon Parishes 
in the mid 1800's. He constituted the Laurel Hill Baptist Church in Hicks 
(Vernon) LA in 1869. He was married to Mary Saucier, probably in Mississippi, 
and the above 13 children were born. After Mary's death, William Terrell 
married a much younger woman, and had 3 additional sons. The second Ms.Terrell 
and children lived in Longleaf LA after her husband died, but no information 
is available on this second family. The Bible is currently owned by O. C. 
Terrell of West Monroe LA.  
Date of publication of Bible was not available. All entries appear to be made 
by one person in beautiful script handwriting, and were transcribed by Jane P. 
McManus exactly as recorded in the Bible.

Josiah P. Terrell was born Jan 21st 1850. 
Wiley H. Terrell was born July 8th 1851. 
Woodard C. Terrell was born Nov 25th 1852. 
William S. Terrell jun: born Jany. 16th 1854. 
John M. Terrell was born Decr. 26th 1855. 
Norval R. Terrell was born Feby. 19th 1858. 
Jasper O. Terrell was born Septr. 16th 1860. 
Newton I. Terrell was born September 5th 1862. 
Bazzel S. Terrell was born November the 26, 1869.
