BEDSOLE Merchant, Lena, La. Mr. Bedsole is a member of the firm of C. W. Ainsley & Co. And is a wide awake, enterprising business man. He was originally from Alabama, his birth occurring in 1856, and is a son of T. H. and Mary A. (Sylvesta) Bedsole, natives of Alabama. The father was a farmer and merchant, and removed to Vernon Parish, La., where he now resides. He was quite a prominent citizen of Alabama. He is a member of the Masonic fraternity, N. H. Bray Lodge No. 208, and both he and wife are members of the Missionary Baptist Church. T.L. Bedsole was educated in the common schools of Alabama. In 1879 he was married in that State to Miss Rebecca Norton, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Norton, and afterward, in 1880, removed to Rapides Parish where Mr. Bedsole was engaged in farming until the spring of 1886. He then removed to Lena, embarked in the mercantile business, and this he has since continued very successfully. He is a promising young business man, and will make his mark in the world. He is a member of the Masonic fraternity, N. H. Bray Lodge No. 208. His marriage was blessed by the birth of five children, two sons and three daughters.
