BALLARD CEMETERY - Rapides Parish

Directions:  Going South on US Hwy. 71 from Alexandria, turn right at Lecompte
(blinking light) onto LA Hwy. 112.  After leaving Lecompte, continue for
approximately three miles and turn left at Lecompte Cemetery sign.  The
Ballard Cemetery is located on the left side immediately after turning off
Hwy. 112.  

Cemetery is very small, and may be considered as part of the Lecompte
Cemetery, but nontheless is referred to locally as the Ballard Cemetery.  It
is fenced and well maintained.  Tombstone inscriptions recorded by Mary Parker
Partain, March 1991, and submitted by Jane Parker McManus
