Directions:  Take LA Hwy. 28 West from Alexandria, go pass blinking 
light in Gardner to St. Clair Road.  Turn right (north) and go 2.1 miles 
until road dead-ends.  Turn right again onto Hwy. 1200 and Cotile Baptist 
Church is located on the right just beyond this corner.  The very large 
fenced cemetery is very new, and is located some distance behind the church.  
A tall wooden cross stands next to the fence between the front gate and the 
large cemetery sign over the double driveway gate.  A memorial marker near 
the cross reads:

Cemetery Sign Dedicated in loving memory of Jason Linn Dear 

In 1996, there were only two double stones just inside the front 
gate of the cemetery.  Tombstone inscriptions were recorded by 
Jane P. McManus 9 October 1996.
