West from Alexandria on LA Hwy 28, turn left at Gardner onto LA Hwy. 121. Just past the town of Hineston, turn left onto LA Hwy. 112 (Union Hill Road), and go 4.0 miles to New Hope Baptist Church. Behind the church, turn onto Padgett Road (blacktop and gravel road), and continue for 1.0 miles on blacktop surface and 4.0 miles on gravel surface. Cemetery is located on the left, across the road from Donald Pace's home. Doyce Cemetery is about an acre in size and is surrounded by a hurricane fence. The property is badly neglected with weeds and grass about 6 feet tall throughout. Only two tombstones were visible inside the enclosure. A sign on the gate: "Doyle Cemetery - Old Soldiers." There is no indication of who the old soldiers were.
