Directions:  On LA Hwy. 28 East, go 1.5 miles past Esler Field Road to Unity 
Baptist Church on the left.  Turn onto Magnolia Road (the road behind the church), 
pass the Unity Cemetery, and go exactly .4 miles to the top of the hill.  Turn left 
onto unmarked gravel road.  At the first fork bear right, and at the second fork 
bear left.

Lofton Cemetery is approximately .6 miles at the end of the road, is about one acre 
in size, well maintained for such an old cemetery, and is fenced.  Burials are 
scattered throughout the cemetery with many depressions that could be lost graves.  
Tombstone inscriptions were recorded from the back of the cemetery by Mary Parker 
Partain, July 1992.
