PISGAH CEMETERY - Rapides Parish

Directions:  South of Alexandria on US Hwy. 165, turn left at blinking
light in Forest Hill.  Cross the railroad track, and turn right immediately
onto LA Hwy. 497.  Continue for two blocks, turn left on Blue Lake Road and
go 3.7 miles.  Turn left on Pisgah Cemetery Road and continue for 1.1
mmiles.  At fork in road bear left (no sign here) and go 1.0 mile.  The
small cemetery covers about an acre and is located at the end of this road.
 Older burials are scattered around the property indicating there may have
been many more burials that are now lost or unmarked.  Tombstone
inscriptions recorded by Mary Parker Partain, 1991, and submitted by Jane
