RED HILL CEMETERY - RAPIDES PARISH

From Alexandria, go South on US Hwy. 71 and turn right at blinking light
at Lecompte (LA Hwy. 112).  After leaving Lecompte, go . 3 miles.  The Red
Hill Cemetery is very small, and is located on the left side of the road
just past the Linzay Cemetery.  There is no sign for either cemetery, but
they are both visible from the highway.  Although the cemetery is not named
on area maps, local residents refer to it by this name.  It is not fenced,
but is maintained.  

Tombstone inscriptions were recorded by Mary Parker Partain 1991, and
submitted by Jane Parker McManus on 22 January 2000.
