Had services by D. M. Belvin and Eld. W. D. Godwin. The priviledges of the church were extended and Sister Vicy (Mrs. Walter) Cloud came forward to the renewal of the covenant. On motion Eld. W. D. Godwin was appointed Moderatop Pro.Tem. Went into conference. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. By request of Miss Mary Lard she was excluded. On motion went into election of delegates to represent the church in the Mt. Olive Baptist Association, which resulted in the choice of Brothers Frank Perkins and Walter Cloud. Collected for associational purposes $3.20. Elder A. D. Mayo was chosen as pastor for the ensueing year. There being no further business we adjourned in order. W. D. Godwin, Moderator ProTem. J. H. Belvin was received by voucher until he should file his letter with the clerk. Minutes read and approved. Sister Winoa Strother was charged with holding a letter of dismission and refusing to unite with any church. Brothers Joseph Willis and John Strother, Jr., were appointed as a committee to visit the sister and demand the letter. On motion resolved that Brother J. H. Strother remain church clerk. Resolved that our church petition to the Mt. Olive Association, and that the letter to the association be written by the clerk with the assistance of Brother Hargrove. Brother Joseph Willis was elected deacon Adjourned in order. L. M. Nichols, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk Sunday 16. Church met. Services by Elds. Nichols and Mayo. Priviledges of the church extended. Mrs. Pashtile (Aaron) Doyl was received by experience as a candidate for baptism. John Strother, Jr. and Joseph Willis were ordained as deacons for the church. Collected for Eld. L. M. Nichols $6.00. Priviledges of the church extended. None offered. Went into conference. Minutes of the last conference read and approved.
