Services and preaching by Pastor. Priviledges of the church extended, none offered. Went into conference, minutes of last meeting read and approved. On motion a committee was appointed to find how much money this church was due Brother W. D. Godwin for some lumber he had previously furnished this house, and for which he had never received pay. On motion the church withdrew fellowship from Sister Clara Castilo Who was received by experience as a candidate for baptism, but had never returned to receive the ordinance. Resolved to take a collection for the pastor on the following Sabbath. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk Sunday 25. Church met. Baptism was administered to Misses Rozetta, Strother, Elizabeth Johnson, Lucinda Willis, and Mrs. Mrs. (Aaron) Pashtile Doyl. Those baptized were received into the full fellowship of the church. Had services and preaching by Elders W. D. Godwin and Joseph Rudisill. Priviledges of the church were extended and Sister Dora Dyer came forward to the renewal of the covenant. A collection of $8.76 was taken for the Pastor. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk Saturday December 22, 1888. Church met. Services and preaching by Bros. Mayo and Belvin. Privileges of the church extended. None offered. Went into conference. Minutes of the last meeting read and approved. The committee appointed to decide how much the church was due Brother Godwin reported that they thought $3.00 sufficient. A collection was taken amounting to $3.60. Appointed Brother Belvin Moderator Pro.Tem. Went into conference. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Brother Frank Perkins informed the church that Bro. Lemuel J. Willis and James Willis had been drinking too much intoxicating Liquors for which they made their acknowledgements before the church and were forgiven.
