Pastor baptized Sister Clara Costilo. The Sister was received into full fellowship of the church. Had services and preaching by Elds. Godwin and Mayo. Priviledges of the church were extended. Six offered. One was rejected. The remainder, Cornelius C. Self, Jerry Cloud, Critenden Perkins, Wm. McDaniel and Wm. Draddy were received by experience as candidates for baptism. The church then partook of the Lord's Supper and washed feet. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Saturday June 22, 1889. Church met pursuant to adjournment. Pastor baptized Cornelius C. Self, Jerry Cloud, Critenden Perkins, Wm. McDaniel, Wm. Draddy and John Ware. Candidates were received into full fellowship of the church. Had services and preaching by pastor. Priviledges of the church were extended. One offered by letter and was received into full fellowship of the church. Three offered by experience and were received for baptism. On motion then went into conference as there was some business neglected at the last conference. The purpose of the conference was to appoint delegates to the District Meeting at New Hope Church June 28, 1889. Volunteers were called for, when Brother Frank Perkins volunteered to go. No further business coming up, adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Saturday July 21, 1889. Church met. After preaching by A. D. Mayo, priviledges of the church was extended. One offered by letter and on motion was received. Two by experience and were received for baptism. Announced in conference. Minutes of the last meeting read and adopted. Brother Frank Perkins reported that the District meeting was very good. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Sunday July 28, 1889. Church met at 10a.m. Adjourned to the water side, where Brother A. D. Mayo baptized five candidates. Returned to the house and the candidates were received into the full fellowship of the church. After devotional exercises were conducted by Elder A. D. Mayo the priviledges of the church were extended. One offered by letter and was received into full fellowship of the church. Four offered and were received for baptism. No further business coming up, adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Saturday August 24, 1889. After devotional services were conducted by Elders Joseph Rudisill and A. D. Mayo, the priviledges of the church were extended. One offered and was received for baptism. After a short intermission were announced in conference. Minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. On motion went into election for our pastor and clerk, which resulted in the choice of A.
