After singing a hymn Bro. John Strother led in prayer. The pastor being absent, on motion Bro. John Strother was appointed moderator. The moderator then took his seat and declared the body ready for business. The minutes of the last meeting were ready and adopted. Brother Bryant Dyer was presented for taking part in the ball room and on motion was excluded. A charge was preferred against Brother Aaron Doyl for drinking liquor, and on motion he was excluded. John Strother, Mod. J. H. Strother, C.C. Saturday Jan. 25, 1890. Church met for business. After devotional services were conducted by Brother mayo, the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. Went into conference. the minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Brother F. Perkins and Joseph Willis informed the church that they went to a race track on business and some of the brethren wee supposed to be offended. If so they were sorry. On motion adjourned. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, C.C. Sunday Jan. 26, 1890. After devotional services were conducted by A. D. Mayo the priviledges of the church were extended. Two offered and were received for baptism. We then adjourned to the water side, and baptism was administered to one candidate. Returned to the house and the candidate was received into full fellowship of the church. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, C.C. Saturday Feb. 22, 1890. Church met for business after devotional services were conducted by the pastor. The priviledges of the church were extended. One offered for restoration and was received. Was announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Brother John Strother then stated that Sister Clara Castilo was sorry for some misdemeanor and wished to remain in the church. The reqest was granted. The church then withdrew fellowship from Henry Mancil who some time since joined the church by experience and had never returned to be baptized. On motion adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, C.C. Sunday Feb 23, 1890. Church met to previous appointment. Adjourned to the water side where Brother Mayo baptized three candidates. Returned to the house where the candidates were received into full fellowship of the church. After devotional exercises were conducted by Brother Mayo the priviledges of the church were extended.
