Saturday before the second Lord's day in January, 1871.
After divine service by Brother W. D. Godwin, met in conference.  
Priviledges of the chuch was extended.  None offered. Visiting brethren
invited to seats with us.  Minutes read and adopted.  DOne by order of 
the church in conference.

On the second Lord's day in January, 1871.
After divine services by Brother W. D. Godwin, the privileges of 
the church was extended and received by letter five.  P. M. Paterson, 
Carolyn Paterson, Matilda Paterson, W. R. Ashmore and Mary Gravner.  
They were received into the fellowship of the church.

After divine services by Brother W. D. Godwin, the privileges of
the church were extended.  One received by letter, Mary Strother was
received in full fellowship of the church.

Strother Sr. was received into full fellowship of the church.

read and adopted.

After divine services by Brother W. D. Godwin , met in conference.
Privileges of church was extended.  None offered.  Visiting brethren
invited to seats with us.  Minutes read adopted.  Resolve that we 
the Bethel church send our petition to the Amiable Church for the
ordination of Brother W. D. Godwin.  On motion Brother P.M. *atterson 
called for his letter and family's letter.  The church granted them 
their old letters and dropped their names from our book.
