Was announced in conference. Minutes of the last meeting read and adopted. As Brother Peterson failed to assist the clerk in copying the articles of faith Brother F. Perkins was appointed to assist, and Brother W. R. Hargrove if necessary. It was announced by the clerk as not ready for approval. On motion the part prepared was read and approved with a correction. A collection was taken for associational purposes amounting to $2.25. On motion the building committee proceed to the completion of the house to the best of their ability. A question was then asked by Brother F. Perkins, What should be done with a member who does not attend conference. It was discussed by Bros. John Strother, W. R. Hargrove, D. M. Belvin and others. On motion it was resolved that the rules of decorum be read on the morrow. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Sunday August 22, 1891. Church met persuant to adjournment. After baptism of Sister Ella E. Willis returned to the house. After devotional exercises the priviledges of the church were extended. Two offered by experience, Bros. S. Draddy and Andrew Rodriguez and on motion were received for baptism. Sister M. R. Strother was received by letter. On motion was received into full fellowship of the church with the baptized candidate. Went into conference. The rules of decorum were read, and after communing and washing feet adjourned in order. Was announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. As the church failed to appoint an assistant superintendent on motion Brother W. R. Hargrove was appointed. On motion went into election for pastor and clerk for the ensuing year, and for delegates to the association. It resulted in the choice of A. D. Mayo for pastor, J. H. Strother, clerk, John Strother, and Walter Cloud as delegates, Matthew Willis and M. Peterson as alternates to attend the association, and Joseph Rodriguez and O. S. Willis as delegates to attend the council meeting. On motion adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Sunday July 26, 1891. Church met persuany to adjournment. After the funeral sermon of Sister Armity Draddy the priviledges of the church were extended. Five offered. Ms. Winnez Strother and John G. Draddy for restoration, and Sister Emily Willis by letter. On motion were received into full fellowship of the church. Miss E. E. Willis and Mrs. Carolyn Bloodworth by experience. On motion were received. On motion postponed communion and foot washing until our next regular meeting. A chapter of the history of Louisiana Baptists was read by Brother W. R.
