After devotional exercises the priviledges of the church were extended. Brother Alexander Strother offered for restoration, and Sister Olive (Mrs. Joe.) Rodriguez came forward for fellowship, her letter having already been received. On motion both were received into full fellowship of the church. Went into conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted with one correction. The committee appointed to copy the articles of faith and rules of decorum reported the rules copied. On motion the following amendments were added: 1st. Resolved that the rules of decorum and articles of faith be read as often as required. 2nd. That the majority of members shall rule in every thing except touching fellowship, which shall be unanimous. 3rd. That it shall be the duty of every member of this church to attend each conference meeting unless prevented from so doing by causes satisfactory to the church. On motion resolved that as the committee had not copied the articles of faith, that they be left to the articles in Pendleton's Church Manual, and the committee be discharged. A delegate who attended the council meeting came forward and reported a good meeting. Also that it was resolved by the meeting that each delegate on returning to his home church should take a subscription for pledges for supporting a missionary in the association. Pledges were called for and two at one dollar each were received. On motion received that we take a collection for Brother Mayo at our next regular meeting. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Sunday September 27, 1891. Church met persuant to adjournment. After devotional exercises the priviledges of the church were extended. Sister Olive Johnson offered by letter and was received. Adjourned to water side and baptism was administered to Sister Carolyn Bloodworth and Brother S. Draddy. Returned to the house where they were received into full fellowship of the church. On motion adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Bethel October 24, 1891. Church met for business. After devotional exercises were conducted by the pastor the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. By announcement went into conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Peace of the church called for. Brother John Ware presented a case of non fellowship. Since it was not in order it was laid over until the next regular meeting. On motion adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Sunday October 25, 1891. Church met persuant to adjournment. After the baptism of Andrew Rodriguez returned to the house. Devotional exercises were conducted by W. R. Hargrove and A. D. Mayo. The priviledges of the church were extended. Sister Mary Draddy offered by letter, and with the baptized candidates was received into full fellowship of the church. Adjourned in order. A. D.
