On motion charges were rendered against Sisters Caroline Bloodsworth and Martha Perkins for participating in the ball room, and as they would render no satisfaction they were excluded. A question was then asked by Brother Joseph Rodrigues, should the church render charges against members for going to ball rooms, but taking no part? Discussed by Bros. Mayo and Hargrove. On motion resolved that the Rules of Decorum be read at our next regular conference meeting and if there be no rule to prohibit that one be added. On motion appointed delegates to attend the Council Meeting as follows: Joseph Rodriguez, Joseph Willis and Alexander Strother as delegates, and L. S. Willis as alternate. Adjourned to meet tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk Sunday Jan. 24, 1892. Church met for business. After devotional exercises were conducted by Bros. Mayo and Belvin the priviledges of the church were extended. Two offered for restoration: Carolyn Bloodsworth and Dew Buxton. They were received into full fellowship of the church. No further business araising adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. J. H. Strother, Clerk. Feb. 21, 1892. The church met for business. The pastor being absent religious exercises were conducted by D. M. Belvin. On motion Brother D. m. Belvin was appointed moderator pro tem. The clerk being absent Brother L. S. Willis was appointed clerk pro tem. Announced in conference. Minutes of the last meeting read and adopted. The unfinished case of Wm. Draddy was again taken up. Brother F. Perkins informed the church that Brother Daddy desired to make his acknowledgements and ask for pardon through him. On motion the Brother was pardoned. The rules of decorum being absent were not read. Brother John Strother stated that he attended the Council meeting which was poorly attended and little was done. Brother Joseph Rodriguez informed the church that he had been trading on Sunday. He asked for pardon and it was granted. A charge was preferred against Sister Carolyn Bloodsworth for participating in a ball room and after a short discussion the Sister was excluded. On motion adjourned in order. D. M. Church met for business. The pastor being absent, on motion Brother W. R. Hargrove was elected Moderator pro tem. After reading and prayer the moderator announced the church ready for business. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. New business called for. The church read a request from Union Hill Church that a brother from Bethel be appointed them in constituting an advisery council. On motion Brother F. Perkins was appointed.
