Sister Frances Ashworth made acknowledgements for participating in the ball room, and on motion was pardoned. A charge was presented against Brother Romelzy Willis for participating in the ball room and on motion the church withdrew fellowship from him. Then went into election for delegates to attend the association and council meeting, which resulted in the choice of Brothers John Strother, Alexander Strother and Frank Perkins as delegates, and Matthew Willis, Joseph Willis and M. Peterson as alternates to attend the association. Brethren O. S. Willis, D. L. Willis and Walter Cloud were chosen as delegates to atten the council meeting. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. M. Peterson, Clerk pro.tem. Sunday, July 24, 1892. Church met for service. After Sister Dixie Hagan was baptized, returned to the house and the sister was received into full fellowship of the church. After devotional exercises the priviledges of the church were extended. Three offered by experience and were received for baptism: Wm. Pharell, Miss Ada Doyl and Joseph Davis. After this the church partook of the Lord's Supper and washed feet. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. M. Peterson, Clerk pro.tem. August 27, 1892. Church met for business, after devotional services were conducted by W. R. Hargrove. On motion W. R. Hargrove was appointed moderator. Was announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. On motion Brother M. Peterson was appointed as committee to visit Occupy Church, carry Sister Martha Doyl's acknowledgements and endeavor to get her a letter. Brother F. Perkins was appointed as a committee to visit Union Hill Church, carry Sister Macenia West's acknowledgements and endeavor to get her a letter of dismission. On motion Sister Mary E. Strother was excluded for participating in the ball room. On motion J. H. STrother was liberated to exercise his gift in declaring the gospel. On motion went into an election for pastor and clerk, which resulted in the choice of Brother Mayo as pastor and O.S. WIllis clerk. On motion the associational letter was read and adopted with some corrections. Took a collection for associational purposes and received $.25, and $1.00 for state missions. Adjourned in order. W. R. There being some candidates awaiting baptism and as the pastor failed to come, Brother J. H. Caruth was sent for to attend to the ordinance. Came to order at 11 a.m. by electing J. H. Caruth Moderator pro.tem. After prayer we adjourned to the water side where Brother J. H. Caruth baptized Brother Wm. Pharal and Miss Ida Perkins. Returned to the house where the candidates were received into full fellowship. After devotional exercises were conducted by J. H. Caruth from 1 Cor. 2 chapter and 7th verse, adjourned in order. J. H.
