Church met for business after devotional exercises were conduced by D. M. Belvin. The pastor being absent, Brother John Strother was appointed moderator pro tem. Was announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted as read with two corrections. Reference called for when Brother L. S. Willis stated that he was satisfied and acknowledged sorry and on motion the Brother was pardoned. On motion adjourned in order. John Strother, Mod. pro.tem. O. S. Willis, Clerk Bethel, Dec. 24, 1892. Church met for business. John Strother was elected Moderator pro.tem. Announced in conference. Minutes of the last meeting read and adopted. Reference called for and on motion was laid over until our next regular meeting. The Moderator appointed Bros. Joe WIllis and Walter Cloud to wait on the Sisters. Brother D. Hollingsworth called for a letter of dismission and on motion it was granted. Went into election for delegates to attend the Council Meeting which resulted in the choice of Bros. Joseph Rodriguez and Aaron Doyl. Sister Mascina's letter was read and she was received into full fellowship of the church. Adjourned in order. John Strother, Mod. O. S. Willis, Clerk. Bethel, Jan. 21, 1893. Church met for business after devotional exercises were conducted by Bro. A. D. Mayo. The priviledges of the church were extended, two offered for baptism; G. Johnson and Ellen Ware. On motion they were received. Was announced into conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Reference called for, when Bros. J. Willis and Walter Cloud announced the trouble between the sisters settled. Brother John Ware presented for participating in the ball room and on motion was excluded. Brother J. Rodriguez stated that he had been trading on Sunday and acknowledged sorry. On motion the Brother was pardoned. Mary Johnson called for a letter of dismission, and on motion it was granted. Adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. O. S. Willis, Clerk Sunday Jan. 26, 1893. Church met for business. 10 a.m. Adjourned to the water side where Bro. A. D. Mayo baptized Peggy Lard. Returned to the house. After devotional exercises were conducted the priviledges of the church were extended and four offered: Marilla Maricle by letter, and Sisters Willis, Emy Cloud and William Lard for baptism.
