May 14, 1871.
After divine service by Brother U. W. Jarrell met in conference.
Privileges of the church extended.  One received by letter, Isaac 
Perkins received into the fellowship of the church.
Done by order of the church in conference.

On Saturday before the second Lord's day in June 1871.
After divine service by Brother W. D. Godwin met in conference. 
Privileges of the church was extended.  None offered.  Visiting 
brethren invited to seats with us.  On motion minutes read and 
adopted.

invited to seats with us.  Minutes read and adopted.  Resolved that 
there be a committee appointed to visit the brethren and sisters
that were in confusion.  On motion Brethren W. Willis and B. F. Pelt 
were appointed as committee.

After divine service by Brother W. D. Godwin, met in conference.  
Privileges of the church extended, none offered.  Visiting brethren
invited to seats with us.  Minutes read and adopted.  On motion
Brothers W. Willis and B. F. Pelt, the committee made their report.
The report was received and the committee discharged.  On motion the 
rules of decorun was read and adopted.  Resolved that we appoint our
delegates to the Louisiana Association.  And on motion Brother Lemuel 
Willis and Solomon Strother were appointed as delegates to the 
association to represent us in the association.  On motion Brother 
W. J. Orre called for a letter of dismission from us and it was 
granted.

Rules of Decorum was read.  On motion Brother B. F. Pelt called for a
letter of dismission from us, and it was granted him.

January 13, 1872.
The Baptist Church of Christ, called Bethel met in conference.  On 
motion Solomon Strother was elected Clerk.  The third's Lord's day in
February was appointed as a day for fasting and prayer, and for the 
ordination of Brother Wm. Willis as deacon.
