Belvin's letter of dismission and it was granted. On motion Bro. Jno. Strother was appointed Sunday School Superintendent and O. S. Willis, Assistant, Frank Perkins Secretary, and O. S. Willis, James Ware, Ida Perkins and Lucinda Willis as teachers. On motion adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. O. S. Willis, Clerk Bethel, Dec. 23, 1893. Church met for business. After devotional exercise were conducted by A. D. Mayo the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. Was announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Peace of the church called for, and it was reported not in peace. On motion the Moderator appointed delegates to the Council Meeting (to be) held at Bethel as follows: Frank Perkins, James Ware, and Alexander Strother as delegates, and Bryant Dyer and Walter Cloud as alternates. Took a collection for the pastor and received $6.35. On motion adjourned. A. D. Mayo, Mod. O. S. Willis, Clerk Bethel Jan. 27, 1894. Church met for business. After devotional exercises were conducted by A. D. Mayo and J. H. Strother the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. On motion went into conference. On motion the Moderator appointed delegates to the Council Meeting as follows: Alexander Strother, Frank Perkins and O. S. Willis as delegates, and Matthew Willis and Bryant Dyer as alternates. On motion Bro. J. H. Strother was called to ordination. Resolved that he be ordained the fifth Sunday in April, and that Bros. J. H. Caruth and L. M. Nichols were chosen as presbytery with the assistance of the pastor. On motion adjourned conference. Adjourned to the water side where the Pastor baptized Bro. G. N.
