Strother, the priviledges of the church were extended. Two offered, J. W. Willis and David Doyl for baptism, and they were received. The Pastor being absent, Brother J. H. Strother was appointed moderator pro tem. Was announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted with the correction of receiving sister Ada Ware under the watch care of the church. She joined by experience and was then received for baptism. Peace of the church called for in - - . On motion went into election for our Pastor and Clerk, which resulted in the choice of Bro. Mayo for pastor and O. S. Willis clerk. On motion went into an election for delegates to attend the association and council meeting which resulted in the choice of Frank Perkins, Alexander Strother and O. S. Willi to the association; and Bryant Dyer, James Willis and Matthew Willis alternates. John Coker, Walter Cloud and J. G. Strother delegates to the council meeting. No further business coming up, adjourned in order. J. H. Strother, Mod. pro tem. O. S. Willis, clerk Sunday July 22, 1894. Church met to adjournment at 10 a.m. Adjourned to the water side when Bro. J. H. Strother baptized Bros. Henry Willis, J. W. Willis, David Doyl, and McClenon Rodriguez. Returned to the house where devotional exercises were conducted by Bros. S. Mallett, G. N. Strother and J. H. Strother. The priviledges of the church were extended, None offered. Bethel Aug. 25, 1894. Church met for business. After devotional exercises were conducted by Bro. Joseph Rodriguez and A. D. Mayo the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. Was announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Peace called for. The Bethel Church met to adjournment at 9 a.m. Adjourned to the water side where Bro. Mayo baptized Lethann Doyl, Ada Ware and Marion Cloud. Returned to the house. After devotional services were conducted by Bro. Mayo, Isaiah Watson and J. H. Strother the priviledges of the church were extended. Six offered. D. L. Willis and Sister M. E. Strother offered for restoration. On motion they were received. Sisters Mary Willis, Martha Willis, Preela Doyl, Erculey Willis offered for baptism. On motion they were received.
