The pastor being absent, on motion Bro. James Ware was appointed Moderator pro tem. Was announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Peace called for. Not in peace. On motion the moderator appointed the following delegates to the Council Meeting: J. Rodriguez, O. S. Willis, and Willie Strother. On motion adjourned in order. James Ware, Mor. pro tem. O. S. Willis, Clerk Bethel Oct. 27, 1894. Church met for business. After devotional exercises, the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Peace of the church called for. Not in peace. General or miscellaneous business called for. On motion Sisters Preela Doyl and Ersuly Willis were presented for worldly conduct, On motion the church withdrew fellowship from the sisters. On motion adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. O. S. Willis, Clerk Sunday Oct. 28, 1894. The Bethel Baptist Church met to adjournment at 10 a.m. Adjourned to the water side. The priviledges of the church were extended. Two offered for baptism, were received and baptized. Sisters Preela Doyl and Ersula Willis. Brother Mayo also baptized Sisters Mary Willis and Martha Willis. Returned to the house. After devotional exercises were conducted by Bro. Mayo the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. No further business coming up, adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. O. S.
