After devotional exercises conducted by Bro. Mayo the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. Minutes of the last meeting read and adopted. Peace called for. In peace. Bro. E. Thompson made his acknowledgements for drinking intoxicating liquors. Bro. C. C. Self was presented for participating in the ball room, and on motion was excluded by request. Bro. G. N. Strother called for Sister M. E. Strother's letter of dismission. On motion it was granted. adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. O. S. Willis, Clerk Sunday April 26, 1896. Church met to adjournment at 10 a.m. Repaired to the water side where Bro. Mayo baptized Bros. Joe Draddy, Monroe Thompson and Thodore Strother. Returned to the house. General or miscellaneous business called for. On motion Bro. J. G. Draddy and Sister Olive Johnson were excluded for living out of Christian duty. On motion the moderator appointed delegates to attend the Council Meeting as follows: Alexander Strother, Bryant Dyer, Romelzy Willis, and Walter Cloud and Bro. J. H. Announced in conference. Minutes of the last meeting read and adopted. A motion was made to reconsider the act of exclusion of J. G. Draddy and Olive Johnson. The motion was lost. Peace of the church called for. Bros. O. S. Willis and Willie Ware stated their trouble and made their acknowledgements for using profane language. On motion the Brothers were pardoned. Brother Walter Cloud mad acknowledgements for using profane language. On motion the Brother was pardoned. Brother Aaron Doyl was presented for using profane language. On motion was excluded.
