Church met to adjournment at 10:00 a.m. Adjourned to the water where Bro. G. N. Strother baptized Sister Martha Strother. Returned to the house. After devotional exercises conducted by Bros. G. N. and J. H. Strother the priviledges of the church were extended. Two offered, Bro. Critenden Perkins and Sister G. A. Thompson for restoration. On motion both were received. On motion went into conference for the purpose of organizing a Sunday school. On motion officers were appointed as follows: Joseph Willis, Superintendent, and Joe Draddy Secretary. Adjourned in order. G. N. Strother, Mod. O. S. Willis, Clerk Saturday July 25, 1896. Church met for business. After devotional exercises conducted by Bro. G. N. Strother the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. Announced in conference. The minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted. Peace called for. Not it peace. Church met persuant to adjournment at 10:00 a.m. After devotional exercises were conducted by J. H. Strother and A. D. Mayo, the priviledges of the church were extended. One offered, Sister Polly Willis for baptism. On motion was received. No further business coming up, adjourned in order. A. D. Mayo, Mod. O. S. Willis, Clerk Saturday Aug. 24, 1896. Church met for business. After devotional exercises were conducted by Bros. A. D. Mayo and J. O. Strother the priviledges of the church were extended. Lazine Ashworth and Martha Bailey for baptism. After devotional exercises were conducted by the Pastor the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered. Announced in conference. Minutes of the last meeting read and adopted. Reference: On motion Bro. Marion Cloud was excluded for non-fellowship with Bro. Willis Ware. Went into election for our Pastor and Clerk for the insueing year. Which resulted in the choice of A. D.
