Saturday Mar. 27, 1897.
Church met for business.  After devotional exercises the priviledges of the
church were extended.  None offered.  Went into conference.  Minutes of the
last meeting were read and adopted.  Took up the reference on Wm. Buxton. 
On motion it was laid over until our next regular meeting.  On motion the 
deacons took up a collection for to buy a book to write the church's past 
record in.  On motion adjourned in order.

Sunday March 28, 1897.
Met to previous appointment.  On motion went into conference for the purpose
of organizing a Sunday school.  On motion John Strother was appointed Super-
intendent, and Bro. G. N. Strother, Assistant Superintendent.  On motion 
adjourned for preaching.  After devotional exercises conducted by L. M. 
Nichols the priviledges of the church were extended. None offered.  
Adjourned in order.

Bethel April 24, 1897.
Met at 11 a.m. After devotional exercises were conducted by G. N. Strother 
the priviledges of the church were extended.  Was announced in conference. 
G. N. Strother was appointed Moderator, pro tem.  Minutes of the last 
meeting read and adopted.  Took up the reference on Wm. Buxton.  On motion 
he was excluded.  Peace of the church called for.  In peace.  No further 
business coming up adjourned in order.

Sunday April 25, 1897.
Met to previous appointment.  After devotional exercises the priviledges of 
the church was extended. (Mrs.) Gensey Mancil, (Misses) Pricilla Mancil, 
Laura Mancil and Harriet Mancil, by letter.  On motion they were received. 
Adjourned in order.

Bethel May 22, 1897.
Church met for business.  After devotional exercises were conducted by
A. D. Mayo the priviledges of the church were extended.  None offered. Was
announced in conference.  The minutes of the last meeting were read and 
adopted.  Peace called for.  Not in peace.  General or miscellaneous 
business called for.  On motion charge was preferred against Bro. Peter 
Perkins.  On motion was laid over until our next regular meeting. On motion
charges were preferred against Sisters Preela Doyl and Ersulia Willis for
living in adultery.  On motion they were excluded.  On motion the moderator
appointed Bros. B. Dyer, O. S. Willis and Alexander Strother as delegates, 
and D. B. Perkins and Henry Willis as alternates to
