The minutes of the former meeting were read and approved. The reading of the church is past record was postponed until other busines was transacted. O. S. Willis, F. Perkins, James Willis, John Coker, and Alexander Strother were appointed as messengers, and L. S. Willis, Matthew Willis and C. Ashworth as alternates to the council meeting. The associational letter was read and approved. Took a short intermission. A portion of the church's past record was read and the remainder was postponed until the meeting in October. A. D. Mayo, Mod. Willie Strother, Clerk Sunday 22. The Pastor preached. Took an offering for the Pastor. This made the total of $36.00 for the year. Collected $2.00 for associational purposes. A. D. Motion by Frank Perkins that the church come prepared to observe the Lord's supper at our next meeting prevailed. The reading of the church's record was postponed until the church desired to hear it. After reading and prayer John Strother was elected Moderator. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The observation of the Lord's Supper was postponed until the next meeting.
