Devotional services were conducted by A. D. Mayo and L. M. Nichols. Minutes of the former meeting were read and approved. The church with- drew fellowship from John Ware, Jas. Ware Jr., Solomon Ware, Wm. McDaniel, Manuel Ashworth and Jas. Willis Jr. for drinking intoxicating liquors. The moderator appointed L. S. Willis, John West, Frank Perkins and Walter Cloud as messengers to District Meeting. Charges were preferred against D. B. Perkins for participating in a play. Fellowship was withdrawn from Anna Ashworth for immoral conduct. Letters of dismission were granted E. and Mary Stanley. G. N. Strother was elected church clerk. A. D. Mayo, Mod. G. N. Willis confessed the use of profane language. Frank Perkins was appointed as treasurer for funds to purchase lumber for making coffins. A. D. Mayo, Mod. G. N. Strother, Clerk Sunday 26. Pastor Mayo baptized Fannie Doyl, and preached. John Ware was restored to fellowship, and James Wales and Mrs. V. Johnson were received for baptism.
