After divine service by Brother W. D. Godwin, on Motion the church went into conference. Minutes of our last conference called for, read and adopted. No other business being presented before the body, on motion we called for the incoming year supply for the church and Brother W. D. Godwin was unanimously elected. On Saturday before the first Lord's day in September, 1879.* After divine service by Brother W. D. Godwin, the privileges of the church were extended, none offered. Visiting brethren invited to seats with us. Minutes called for read and adopted. No other business in order to come before the body, on motion we elected our delegates to represent us in the Calcasieu Association. Brother John Strother and Frank Strother were elected delegates, and Solomon Strother as alternate. No other business being presented before the body. We called for the incoming year supply for the church and Brother W. D. Godwin was unanimously elected. On the Sabbath day following agter services the privileges of the church was extended. One offered, Elizabeth Cloud, and was received as a candidate for baptism. On motion we adjourned. Done by order of the church in conference. W. D. Godwin, Mod. Solomon Strother, Chs.Clk. On motion Brother Linch was called to supply the church the remaining part of the year. No other business being presented before the body, on motion we adjourned. After divine service by Brother Linch, on motion went into conference. Privileges of the church was extended. One offered, Brother Lemuel Willis. On motion he was restored into the fellowship of the church. No other business to come before the body, on motion we adjourned, Brother S. P. Linch, Mod. Solomon Strother, Chs.Clk. On Saturday before the first Lord's day in March 1881. After divine service by Brother Linch, on motion the church went into conference. minutes of last conference called for, read and adopted. No further business in order to come before the body on motion we adjourned. On the sabbath day following, after divine service by Brother Linch the privileges of the church was extended. Two offered, Sister Martha Perkins and Sister Mary Jane Bryant, and were received as candidates for baptism. Done by order of the church in conference. S. P. Linch, Mod.
