Blanchard vs. Mrs. C. Newton entered inot on Monday last was resumed and consumed the whole time of the court the entire day. The case was submitted late in the evening and taken under advisement. The case of R.H. Walmsley & Co., vs. W.J.S. Johnson and H.M. Robinson ET AL., vs. M.T. Trimble set for last Tuesday but not reached on account of case above mentioned were continued to next term of Court. The case of Isabella Blau vs. Lisbon Hawkins, appeal from Magintrates Court, Lamourie Ward, the judgment of lower Court was revised and case ordered to be reinstated on docket of Justice of the Peace and to be procceded with as when the case was originally filed; plaintiff to pay the cost of the appeal. The following business was transacted yesterday (Wednesday): T. Walker vs. Morgans La. & T.R.R. and Steamship Co., Exception tried and sustained. Judgment of lower Court revised and suit dissmissed for want of citation, at cost of plaintiff. Referred back to lower Couort to be proceeded with according to law. The above was an appealed suit from Magistrates Court. The case of A. Heyman vs. C.P. Johnson, set for yesterday, was settled by confession of Judgment without trial. Case of W.A. Griffin vs. A.T. Rust. Agreed by counsel to take testimony out of court and submit. The case of D. Kuhnagel vs. E.B. Pendleton was re-assigned for Saturday, the 28th inst. In the case of Geo. Carr vs. Walter Hynson, judgment of lower court affirmed with costs of both courts. Thursday's proceedings: The case of Mrs. Sallie Day vs. N.O.P.R.R. Co., was taken up and trial entered into. Not being finished this case was resumed Friday.
