P. 4 - 12 Oct 1804 - Wm. Patrick Collins of New Orleans to Laurence Milligan, an Inn Keeper in New Orleans. 800 acres on the westside of Bayou Robert, under Register's Claim # 1547. Bounded on the East by Bayou Robert, on the South by land of Nicholas Kimpson and on the North and West by vacant lands. P. 11 - 25 Jun 1801 - John Pillar's Petition to establish himself on Cottaille (Cotile) on a tract of land having 10 arpents fronting on Bayou Rapides and 40 arpents deep. P. 12 - 4 Feb 1806 - John Pillar sells to Alexander Fulton, the above tract of land. Bounded by Samuel Henarie below and James Jersy (sic) above. 10 Jun 1800 - Order of Survey in Favor of Luke Collins, Jr. Feb 1796. Fronting 20 arpents on Bayou Rapides and being 40 arpents deep. P. 14 - Luke Collins Jr. of Opelousas sells to Nicholas Wellch (sic) of Rapides, the above tract, being the same land granted to Collins 19 Apr 1797 and surveyed by Carlos Trudeau, Royal Surveyor, 10 Jun 1800. P. 15 - 30 Nov 1801 - Petition of Jeremiah Greenwell for 5 arpents fronting on both sides of Bayou Boeuf. Bounded by James Brewster and Hugo Mulholland. Being the same land Rev. Maguire (Catholic Priest and Indian Agent) got from Savages (Indians) P. 16 - 8 May 1802 - Petition of Leonard Dyson for land on B. (Bayou) Buchele (Bushley). Bounded by land of Guillaime (William) Doze (Dozier or Dauzat) & domains (vacant). P. 27 - 21 Oct 1784 - Petition of Edmund Nugent for 20 arpents fronting Bayou Chico (Chicot) and having 40 arpents depth. Bounded on the West by land of Mr. Wells. 12 Jan 1793 - Edmund Nugent sells to Godfrey Krieger the plantation and his improvement on B. Chico (Bayou Chicot). P. 28-29 - 22 Apr 1801 - Godfrey Krieger sells to Daniel McGilvray, the same property having been claimed under the Request of William Wykoff and Thomas Dunford and being the same acquired by Krieger from Edmund Nugent. Having 8 arpents fronting Bayou Chico (Chicot) and bounded by land of John Hays. Adjudication to Thomas Dunford. P. 43 - 10 Jan 1803 - Petition of John Fowler for 2 arpents fronting on Catahoula Bayou (Little River, between Catahoula Lake and Black River), bounded by land of Nicolas (sic) Grubb. 24 Apr 1801 - Petition of Gimez (James) Levanes (Leavens) for "douze douze" arpents front and 40 arpents deep, located on Prairie Catahoula borne (sic). P. 44 - 1 Oct 1800 - Petition of Thomas Nelson for 10 arpents fronting on B. Buchele (Bayou Bushley) and having a depth of 40 arpents. 13 Apr 1805 - Thomas Nelson sells to Moses Earl 400 acres on Bouchele (Bushley) Bayou. Witnesses: I. (Isaiah) Slayter, Daniel Wiggins 6 Jan 1806 - Moses Earl sells to James White, the above tract of land. P. 47 - 31 Oct 1795 - Order of Survey - John Lovelace, a habitant of this Colony for 16 years. P. 48 - 15 Feb 1799 - John Lovelace of the Mississippi Territory sells to Samuel Lightner of the Louisiana Territory, 400 acres of land on Petite Aver Island in the Atacapas (Attakapas) District. Noted in margin: "Taft Island - known as Avery Island" 23 Feb 1806 - Deposition of witnesses in Wilkinson County, Mississippi Territory. P. 69-70 - 30 Apr & 1 Jun 1799 - Claim of Hatch Dent - A copy of a document from the Register in the Cabildo - Indians, Lacassine, Chief and Ouachil, 2nd Chief, Sell to Catherine Lebleu. P. 70 - Jan 1805 - New Orleans - Charles M. Audibert sells to Hatch Dent 84 arpents square, adjoining above the land of Charles Sallier. Being the same land purchased by Catherine Lebleu from the Chief of the Nation of Atacapas (Attakapas) and bought by Audibert from Lebleu 1 Jan 1805. NOTE: These items are shown here, since Hatch Dent became the first Clerk of Court under the U.S. Government of Rapide County, Orleans Territory. P. 114-115 - 28 Apr 1795 - New Orleans - Order of Survey for Nicholas Lacour, receiving 50 arpents of land fronting on Bayou Rapides, for his employment of 10 negros in [agri]culture. Bounded by land of Don Jese (sic) Deblanc and Dn. Renon (sic, Zenon) Lacour. [signed by an undoubtedly Spanish scribe] El Baron de Carondelet P. 115 - 16 Oct 1806 - Nicholas Lacour sells a portion of the above tract to John Fowler. P. 116 - no date - Zenon Lacour "delido" arpents fronting on Bayou Rapides. Bounded by Nicholas and Cepriane (sic. Cyprien) Lacour. P. 116-117 - 16 Oct 1806 - Point Coupee - Zenon Lacour sell to John Fowler, more of the above tract. P. 136-138 - 17 Oct 1806 - Pt. Coupee - Baptiste Beauvois sells a Quit Claim to Ebenezer Cooley, for the land sold 26 Nov 1798 by Edmund Nugent, Gabriel Martin and the Succession of Mathieu (sic, Matthew) Nugent to Cooley. P. 148 - troisum (3rd ?) Jul 1804 - Alexander Fulton to Mr. Beverly Chew, Rgt. of New Orleans, land bounded by William Walker and John Henderson. P. 148-149 - no date - Roderick Harile (sic, Harrell ?) sells to Alexander Fulton, 400 acres of land on the right bank ascending (north side) of B. Rapide (sic, Bayou Rapides), known as B. Jean de Jean, near or at a place called Cotile. P. 149 - 11 Jul 1801 - George Gary Survey being 10 x 40 arpents on B. Rapide, adjoining land of Sam'l Henarie.
