   The following old relic, in the shape of an invitation to a Masonic Ball, 
was handed us by Mr. Sam Fellows.  It is printed on cardboard.  With the
exception of Mr. W.W. Whittington, we believe all the managers named below 
have passed to that other land "from which no traveller returns;"
   "The pleasure of your company is respectfully solicited at a Masonic Ball, 
to be given at Masonic Hall, in the Town of Alexandria, on the 27th of 
December, A.D. 1859.
   Managers. --Gen. M. Wells, Wm, B. Hyman, John Innis, C.V. Ledoux, L.E. 
Texada, S.W. Gordon, Vestal Gould, B.F. Fulton, W.W. Whittington, J.M. 
Solibellas, L.A. Stafford, John C. Lewis.
