State of Miss Oct the 23 1872 Franklin County Dear Childrin I once more take the pleasure of writing you a few lines to let you know how I am. I am in tolrable good helth at this time I have ben rite sick but I am a giting a bout a gaine I hope these few lines may find you all well. I have bin to see all of my children last weeke. I spent one week with them and the rest of the conextions ther are all well eaxcpt James wife Sarah she has the chill and fever I have nothing strange to write there has bin a graite deale of sicknis in this contry this yeare and is yet there has bin a good many deths in the neighbour hood John Wactor is in bad helth at this time and has ben ever sence he got back from that contry the rest of his familey is weell Isaac and his wife is well and a doing well he has maide a bout fore bailes of cotten and a bouit three hundred bushels of corne this yeare I want to see you all verry bad I expect to come over with William Lofton I went to see him a few days ago he sais I mut wait til he mooves and come with him there I want to go and see your uncle Perry and Jesse and all of you aunts before I leave this conty I am a doing verry well with Isaac but I dont want to stay in this contry there is no amusement here in the werld I have a good horse to ride when I to go and I can go when I wish and com when I please I have wrote to you before and have got no ancer.
