To all Whom it may Concern:

Know Ye, That Jessee W. Bass a Private of Captain Robert B
Halleys Company G Baylors Regiment of Texas Dismt Cavlry
who was enlisted the 1st day of September one thousand eight 
hundred and Sixty Four, to serve for the war is hereby
Honorably Discharged from the 
Army of the Confederate States.
HAVING REMAINED TRUE TO HIS COLORS TO THE LAST.

Said Jessee W. Bass was born in St Landry Parish in the State of
Louisiana, is 17 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, Fair 
complexion, Grey eyes, Light hair, and by occupation, when
enlisted, a Farmer. 

Given at Houston, this the 24th day of May 1865.
