Almonds, Ridge, Purley.....26 Jan 1884
Yesterday morning four men working at the New York Lumber Co.'s Mill,
were slightly injured by falling timber. John Almonds, slightly injured
his hand; Wm. Ridge was struck on the hip; Leslie Purley had his foot
mashed; and a man called Martin also had his foot crushed. All of the
men except Martin, were able to work as usual yesterday afternoon.
