DIED:

ADDISON.- Dr. J. D. Addison, aged 63 years, died of Bright's 
disease, at Provencal, La., on Wednesday, September 1st, 1897.
The deceased was an esteemed and influential citizen, whose 
death will be deplored by the entire community. He leaves a wife,
son and daughter to mourn his demise.
