DIED:

BALL.-Mrs. T. P. Ball, wife of Capt. C. E. Ball, aged 57 years,
died at the famiy residence in Pineville, at one o'clock on
Monday, Aug. 23rd 1897. The deceased was a native of Rapides
Parish and had resided here all her life. Her remains were
interred in the Rapides cemetery, Pineville at 4 o'clock 
p.m. the same day.  She leaves a husband, three daughters, six 
sons, twenty-four grand-children and two great grand-children to
mourn her demise.

Tillizelle Pauline Talley Ball's husband was Captain Chittenden 
Edwin Ball (Oct. 26, 1828-Nov. 4, 1900)
