Vicie Pollard Bond
Pitkin - Services for Vicie Pollard Bond will be at 11 a.m.
Wednesday in Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Revs. John
Everett and J.D. Ford officiating. Burial will be in Blue
Branch Cemetery under direction of Hixson, DeRidder.

Mrs. Bond, 75, of Pitkin died at 1:25 p.m. Sunday in
Beauregard Memorial Hospital, DeRidder.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Pitkin. She was a 
member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and amember of the 
Woman's Missionary Union.

Survivors include her husband, John Carroll Bond of Pitkin; three sons,
Jene Webb of Holland, Ohio, Ellis Webb of Toledo, Ohio, and Carl Webb
of Grant; one daughter, Geraline Vallotton of Hemingsburg, Ky.; two
stepsons, Judge W. Ellis Bond of Lake Charles and the Rev. Clayton Bond
of Togo, West Africa; three half-sisters, Bessie Mae Ford and Lula Mae
Sigler, both of New Caney, Texas, and Lottie Pearl Bivens of Nacogdoches, 
Texas; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren
and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call until 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hixson-Ardoin chapel, Pitkin,
or from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church.
