Ford officiating. Burial will be in Blue Branch Cemetery under direction of Hixson, DeRidder. [May 1987] Mrs. Bond, 75, of Pitkin died at 1:25 p.m. Sunday in Beauregard Memorial Hospital, DeRidder. She was a native and lifelong resident of Pitkin. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and amember of the Woman's Missionary Union. Survivors include her husband, John Carroll Bond of Pitkin; three sons, Jene Webb of Holland, Ohio, Ellis Webb of Toledo, Ohio, and Carl Webb of Grant; one daughter, Geraline Vallotton of Hemingsburg, Ky.; two stepsons, Judge W. Ellis Bond of Lake Charles and the Rev. Clayton Bond of Togo, West Africa; three half-sisters, Bessie Mae Ford and Lula Mae Sigler, both of New Caney, Texas, and Lottie Pearl Bivens of Nacogdoches, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
