Date: February 2, 1957 Headline: Mrs. Castleberry Succumbs at 78 Mrs. Tempia Austin Castleberry, 78, of Pineville, died in an Alexandria hospital Thursday at 10 a.m. Services are to be held today at 2:30 p.m. from the Hixson Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. R. Houston Smith officiating. Burial is to be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Survivors include three sons, E. V. McBroom of Alexandria; W. C. McBroom of Shreveport; and W. C. Castleberry of Aransas Pass, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Foster Sayer of Pineville, Mrs. Percy Normand of Alexandria, Mrs. C. A. Grivette of Olla, and Mrs. O. L. Depriest of Ft. Bragg, Calif. Also surviving her are two brothers, Curtis Ford of Conroe, Texas, and Roy Ford of Memphis, Tenn., four sisters, Mrs. Nora McBroom of Ft. Bragg, Calif., Mrs. Belle Elliot of Olla, Mrs. Lela Pardon of Beaumont; and Mrs. Bertha Smith of Houston, Texas; 21 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
