Lilla Cutts Monk

Funeral services for Mrs. Lilla Cutts Monk will be held at 10:00
a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Dixie Baptist Church, 
Sieper, with Reverends Nat Dutton, Dennis Snoddy and Sam Russell 
officiating. Interment will be in Hemphill Star Cemetery, Cotile, 
under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Monk, age 79, of Woodworth, entered eternal rest on 
Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Hilltop Nursing Home, Pineville. She 
was a homemaker. She was a member of Dixie Baptist Church, 
Sieper, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Sam Jessie Cutts 
and Samuel D. Monk; parents, Olonzo and Mary Mullens.

She is survived by her three sons, Jessie Paul Cutts (Audrey) of 
Chopin, James Carl Cutts (Theresa) of Otis and Thomas Ray Cutts 
(Robyn) of Otis; one daughter, Georgie Arlene Bell (Kenneth) of 
Otis; one brother, Glenn Mullens of Galveston, Texas; nine 
grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Dixie Baptist Church, Sieper, on Friday, 
August 26, 2011 from 4:30 p.m. until time of service on August 
27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Dixie Baptist Church 
Mission Fund.
