The deceased was a native of Rapides Parish and the idolized daughter of General and Mrs. Geo. O. Watts, whose agonized grief is inconsolable at the sudden extinguishment of a young and happy life, with the brightest prospects for the future. Three years ago, Bessie Watts left the paternal mansion, the radiant bride of E. B. Dubuisson, a prominent attorney of Opelousas and then District Attorney of the judicial district in which the parish of St. Landry is situated. Her remains were interred in the Catholic Cemetery at Opelousas. Mrs. Dubuisson was a most estimable lady, loved and esteemed by a large circle of friends, who will unite with us in tendering sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
