Wyat Hoffman, aged 82 years, died at 4 pm Thursday at the residence
of his daughter, Mrs. Sarah E. Ball of 1938 Jackson Street, Alexandria,
La. Mr. Hoffman was born in Pineville 4 Aug 1855 and a lifelong 
resident there.  His funeral began at 5pm with the procession leaving 
from his daughter's Alexandria home to Mount Olivet Chapel in Pineville,
with servies conducted by Dr. W. S. Slack with interment at Rapides 
Cemetery under direction of Hixon Brothers Funeral Home in Alexandria.
Survivors: sons: Julius and Dave Hoffman of Pineville, La. Daughters:
Mrs. Ball of Alexandria, Mrs. S. E. Couvillion, Mrs. Olive 
Schwatzenberg and Mrs. B. A. Stokes all of Pineville, La.
