Funeral services for Joseph Floyd Lodridge will be held at 1:00 
p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Margaret's Church, Boyce 
with Father Kurian Zachariah officiating. Burial will be at 
Flatwoods Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers, 
Alexandria.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson 
Brothers, Alexandria Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. 
and continued Wednesday at the Church from 11:00 a.m. until time 
of service.

Mr. Lodridge, 37, of Lena, passed away, Sunday, June 10, 2012. 

He was a loving and devoted father.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Matthew Lodridge, 
Jr.; paternal grandfather, Arthur Lodridge and maternal 
grandparents, Robert and Zeline Sweat.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Amel Ashton 
Lodridge; daughter, Jaime Lyndsey Lodridge; parents, Roy and 
Frances Sweat Lodridge; brothers, Robert Lodridge and James 
Lodridge and wife, Rhonda; sister, Mary Kerry and husband, 
Darron; paternal grandmother, Mary V. Lodridge; nieces, Kirsten 
Kerry and Courtney Kerry; nephews, Cody Lodridge and Paul 
Lodridge; great nephew, Quentin Cameron.

Pallbearers will be Steven Willis, Lynn Goynes, Jerry Basco, 
Eric Basco, Cy Holmes and Donald Wayne George.

Honorary pallbearers will be Geoffroi Sweat, Aubrey Knight and 
Merle Knight, Jr.
