Graveside services for Francis "Red" O'Halloran were at 4 p.m. Monday in Alexandria Memorial Gardens with the Rev. August Thompson officiating. Burial was under direction of John Kramer & Son. O'Halloran, 81, of Alexandria died Sunday, May 9, 1999, in Rapides General Hospital. He served in the Navy Seabees during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, American Legion, VFW, Menard Athletic Association and charter member of Plumbers Local. He also was a Knight of Columbus member in which he was past Grand Knight of Council No. 1134, a past Faithful Navigator 4th Degree of Monsignor Anthony Piegay Assembly. Virginia and a longtime resident of Alexandria. She was a nurse aide and worked in Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport and Christus St. Frances Cabrini.
