Services in Greater St. Lawrence Baptist Church, Alexandria, burial in 
Moss Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Jonesville; aged 80, of Alexandria 
died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
She worked for Herbie K's restaurant for over 50 years. 
Survivors:  sons, Booker T. Rhone of Cullen and Richard Wayne Donique of 
Alexandria; daughters, Patricia Joseph of San Antonio, Omer Donique and 
Juanita Young Andrews, both of Los Angeles; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-
grandchildren.

Services in Standard Baptist Church; burial in Pine Hill Cemetery; 
aged 81, of Columbia died Sunday, April 16, 2000. 
Survivors:  sons, Jessie J. Young of Olla and John J. Young of Port 
Barre; daughters, Helen Jackson of Wilmington, N.C., Laverne Roberson 
of Nebo, Vivian Townley of Cleburn, Texas, Delores McAdams of Roxie, 
Miss., Johnnie Dale Boutwell of Garyville and Sharron Mitchell of 
Chattanooga, Tenn.; brother, Bill Powell of Kelly; sisters, Bobbie 
Hendrix of Kelly, Annie Mae Mitchell of West Monroe and Jessie Mae 
Martin of Olla; 25 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 16 great-
great-grandchildren. 
Pallbearers:  Rusty McCartney, Alan Mitchell, Jim Young, Jesse Ray 
Young, Gary Boutwell and Denny Jackson.

Services in the chapel of Myers-Colonial with burial in Dry Creek 
Cemetery. Young, 90, of DeRidder died Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, in 
Beauregard Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Sugartown and a 
lifelong resident of the DeRidder and Sugartown area. He was a member 
of First Pentecostal Church of DeRidder and retired from Crosby Chemical 
in 1972 with 20 years services. He was a member of Sam Todd Masonic Lodge. 
Survivors:  sons, Tommy Young of Pineville and Jimmy Cooper of DeRidder; 
daughter, Cathy Cameron of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Elsie Iles of Lake 
Charles; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-
grandchild.

Zimmer, 57, of DeSoto died Saturday, July 29, 2000, in her residence.
She was a native and former resident of Mansura, La., and attended 
University of Southern Louisiana.  She was preceded in death by her 
parents, Hilda Avant and Buvens L. Prevost; and brother, Buvens L. 
Prevost Jr.
Survivors:  husband, Paul T. Zimmer of DeSoto; daughters, Maria 
Covington, Rebecca Ryan, Patrice Maraffa and Felicia Zimmer, all 
of Dallas; sisters, Jeanette Robideaux and Bernadette Fox, both 
of Lafayette, Elise Medrano of New Orleans, and Jacqueline Poret 
and Kathleen Layfield, both of Mansura; brothers, Billy Toups of 
Marksville, Mark Prevost of Baton Rouge, and Peter Prevost of New 
Roads.
