Mrs. Annie Paul, 77, of Gardner,La, died at 8:45 Monday, March 3, 1969 
in an Alexandria hospital. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Annie 
Mae Jones of Fort Necessity,La., Miss. Lovy Paul, Miss. Mildred Paul, 
Miss.Margaret E. Paul all of Gardner, La., Miss. Gladys Paul of Delhi. 
One son, John Howard Paul Jr. of Columbia, La.: One Brother, Wesley Maier 
of Gardner, La., eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  

Preceeded in death by Husband, John Howard Paul, Sister,Maude Maier Reeves, 
Parents, Robert and Mary Ellen Gilbert Maier.  

Mrs. Paul was born August 23, 1891 to the union of Robert and Mary Ellen 
Gilbert Maier in Franklin County, Texas. Funeral services were to be held 
at 3:30 p.m. today from the chapel of John Kramer and Son Funeral Home of 
Alexandria, La. and burial was to be in McNutt Hill Cemetery, Gardner, La.  

We lived in Gardner not far from the McNutt Cemetery. We moved here in 1961.
