The body was taken in charge and prepared for burial by Hixson Bros., local funeral directors, and was being held this afternoon. Funeral arrangements were being delayed awaiting the arrival of relatives of the dead man. Full details regarding the accident in which he was injured were not available, but it is stated that he was hurt while engaged in loading timber on a truck. He was brought to the hospital immediately following the accident and has been under treatment there since. The attending physician expressed the opinion that he died from a ruptured stomach. The dead man is survived by his wife and a stepdaughter.
