He was a retired farmer. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic church here. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. funeral Hoome of Marksville. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home chapel at 8 p.m. today. Survivors include his wife, Georgiana Rachal of Marksville; six sons, George and Alex Rachal, both of New Orleans, Camille and Clifton Rachal, both of Mansura, and Orvile and Clyde Rachal, both of Baker; eight daughters, Agnes Johnson and mrs. harry Shields, both of new Orleans, Sybil Chatelain of Laurel, miss., Hilda Gauthier and Ina Turner, both of Baton Rouge, Mary Joyce Ricaud of mansura, Mrs. Camille Gagnard of Marksville and Mrs. Frank Miligan of Burkie; two brothers, Edwin Rachal of Hessmer and Wiltz Rachal of Texas; three sisters, Ella Gagnard of New Orleans, Minnie Laborde of Texas, and Rose Neucere of Hessmer, numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
